Lia Scovil graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991 with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and was an elementary teacher for eight years. She then took time off to raise her two daughters who are now 15 and 19 years old. She has always enjoyed playing team sports such as softball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. She enjoys being a "team player" as a Realtor at David Upchurch Real Estate where she is proud to be on The David Upchurch Team. She delights in meeting people and their families, showing them homes, marketing and holding Open Houses, as well as performing the duties as a Closing Coordinator. Having lived in several different countries, Lia has a natural ability to connect with others from all different cultures and communicates using her Spanish when needed.
